Illegal Share Dealing by Government

With rumours abounding that the Government leaked information which led to bank share prices plumetting, we now find out that, now those shares have reached the bottom, the Government is to invest billions of pounds of our money to take a significant and/or controlling share of the banks. Surely that sort of trading is llegal? The FSA must investigate.

One of the outcome seems to be the resignation of some significant and, according to Sky, well respected figures. Where will they end up? Will this be the beginning of yet another brain drain?

Actions like state intervention, alway have significant negative impacts, whatever the short term gain. Losing talent abroad could be one of those.
