Passion in English football
Over the last couple of weeks I have really enjoyed watching a number of British Olympic athletes give everything they have got whilst competing for their country.
In contrast, I am now sitting here watching a bunch of overpaid elitists, stroll around a football pitch without an ounce of passion or drive. It seems that putting on an England shirt means nothing now.
Update: As if to prove my point we have the amazing David Davies who collapsed and had to receive treatment as a result of the effort he put in to get his silver medal in the mens open water 10k. Can anyone imagine our Egnland footballers showing that sort of commitment?
