Download Festival - What lessons do us old 'uns pass on

I had the privilege of going to the Download Festival at Castle Donnington this weekend with my kids. I had a great time, as I always do at Rock events. It always amazes me how friendly and fun they are, and this weekend was no exception, despite ,lots of alcohol being consumed (and unfortunately a few herbs smoked). One thing that I did notice (or my kids noticed and pointed out) was that whenever you saw someone doing something untoward, it was always one of the "old rockers" of my generation. Mostly this was blokes urinating against walls, despite there being loads of portaloos and not many queues.

In some ways it is a heartening message about our youth. But it is also disturbing that those that should know better are sending out the negative messages.
