Blue Tongue - Institute for Animal Health?

I wonder if anyone has thought, this early on, of investigating possible links between Blue Tongue and the now infamous IAH? I know Suffolk is a long distance away, but we never know what animal movements there have been between Surrey and the farm where the outbreak has been found?

I say that because early on in the Foot and Mouth investigations, when the media eventually decided to start looking at the IAH link, there was comment that they also do research on Blue Tongue.
