Chnese Minders for the Torch

I am really uncomfortable with the idea of the Chinese bringing in their own henchmen to supervise the torch on its procession through our streets. Who were they, and who said they could be here? I strongly suspect they were soldiers, so who knows whether any of them have been involved in the slaughter of innocent Tibetans?
