UN puts politics above peace

The decision by the Security Council to allow the text of its Press Release about the hostage situation in Iran to be watered down must have been a clear sign to the west that it is no longer fit for purpose.

They have effectively handed Iran a massive PR victory. Basically, rewarding the offending Nation.

Shame on them.

No doubt as the protests develop the UN will rebrand itself. Can I suggest "League of Nations II"?
