Malcolm Moss MP to retire
I am disappointed to learn that Malcolm Moss has decided to stand down as my Member of Parliament.
Malcolm has been a great servant to North East Cambridgeshire during his 20 years as MP. During the times I have campaigned with him I have always been massively impressed with how much he is respected and valued. Time and again I saw people thank him for work he has done on their behalf and I know that he was held in similar respect in his capacity as a Front Bench spokesman for the party. I remember visiting a St George's day celebration with him in Whittlesey Market Square when a number of the Molly Dancers approached him to say thanks for the work he did on the Licencing Bill, I also recall the amount of lobbying that was done on his behalf by sectors of the leisure industry when he was replaced on the Conservative Front Bench.
I wish Malcolm and Sonya every happiness in the future.
