Greengate - Who Knew

It is important that, as a matter of urgency, we are told which Ministers knew of the arrest of Damien Green.

Given the number of high ranking Conservatives that were advised, it is inconceivable that nobody knew. If the Home Secretary knew she should resign. If she didn't know, we should be told why - it is her brief and her responsibility to know.

Personally I believe the Government are lying through their teeth on this. They had to have prior knowledge, not least because someone advised the police about the best timing to force a search of Damien Green's office - it s too much of a coincidence that this happened almost immediately after Parliament went into recess.
