More Lib Dem Antics

I recently commented on the misleading information on a local Lib Dem newsletter.

They have just put out a couple more leaflets, amongst the distorted facts this time are a slightly different misrepresentation of the events at a Planning Meeting four weeks ago and a twisted view about the bus pass debacle which is an issue across the Country. Interestingly, the Newsletter also contains a totally unwarranted personal attack on the current Town Council Chairman. it is a coincidence that she is also the Conservative Candidate in a forthcoming District by-election. A few months ago this lady was a Lib Dem. It is strange that the Cambridgeshire Lib Dems were not putting out leaflets criticising her then.

The leaflet also repeats the somewhat ambiguous slogan they used before: “Chatteris needs more hardworking Lib Dems” Certainly not their best ever .

There are still no “two horse race” leaflets or misleading graphs. I wait with eager anticipation.
