It's the Government who are wrong, not the judiciary

This commentary from Labour Watch about the paedophile who, despite a horrific crime, may be up for release in 5 years, is absolutely spot on. It is difficult to comprehend that there is potential for such a short sentence.

But for Dr Reid to try to use an attack on the judiciary to palm the blame away from Government is wrong. Sweeney was sentenced according to guidelines. Dr Reid should be apologising on behalf of the Government for getting the guidelines wrong.
