Do we live in a democracy?
Of course the answer to the question is yes, but sometimes I wonder.
We have a Deputy Prime Minister who is totally discreditted, who should have been sacked and is refusing to go depsite the wishes of his own backbenchers. He is kept in his job by his own boss, who is staying in power despite the overwhelming feeling against him amongst the people of Britain.
When it comes down to it, this Country is suffering because the Labour Party at Westminster is not strong enough to do what it should do - force Blair out. Whilst the Parliamentary Labour Party continue to fail, this Government will continue to lurch from crisis to crisis and democracy and the reputation of the political system in Great Britain will continue to slide.
I hope when the General Election comes, those voters with Labour MPs will ask themselves whether they should vote for someone that was too weak-kneed to do the right thing for Britain.
