Another example of New Labour incompetence?

This story seems to be almost an afterthought

Dame Janet Smith has said to the Royal Society of Medicine that the Government have failed to implement many of the recommendations from the report she compiled as result of the Shipman inquiry and has complained about a lack of "joined up Government."

This seems to be yet another example of Ministers not being on the ball. It adds to the debacle in the Home Office, the failure of Margaret Beckett's department to pay farm subisidies and the failure, after 9 years in office, to sort out the Child Support Agency.

Remember - Tony wants you to vote on his record over 9 years.
