Abuse of office is fine, but croquet isn't?

It is really strange that what is doing for Prescott at the moment isn't the fact that he has abused his office, that he has been exposed as a serial groper or committed acts which would have resulted in any other person losing their job, but that he had a game of croquet.

Somebody has their priorities mixed up.
