Loans for Peerages

I hope the arrest today is a signal that the investigation into selling peerages is genuine. My concern is that this is a token and inevitable gesture that follows the expose by The Sunday Times earlier this year.

What are the odds of no charges being made and DA Commissioner Yates of the Yard receiving a peerage in a few years. (For the sake of a few people who need to be told - this is a joke).
