The blessing of death for Ruth Kelly?

First it was Gordon Brown, and now Tony Blair voicing full support for Ruth Kelly.  This after the PM apparently delayed a Cabinet reshuffle until after Thursday, just in case she has to go.  She might as well start packing now.

There are some serious questions that must be answered on Thursday:

  • How many cases are there of sex offenders who have been given permission to work in schools?

  • Why did Kim Howells apparently give one permission and Ruth Kelly others – was the Howells admission a lie, or don’t Ministers know who does what?

  • How can Ruth Kelly leave an urgent review until after this whole event got into the public arena, instead of when she was first advised of it a month or so ago?

If she cannot answer all 3 of these questions satisfactorily, then Ruth Kelly must go.

Agree entirely with your comments on Ruth Kelly, she really must go because she did not put the safety of children as the main priority in any decision she made regarding sex offenders working in schools.
She has been on her way since Tony Blair gave her his support. He did the same to Mandelson and Blunkett and look how long they lasted in government!

Someone needs to send Ruth a blessing of "Sin Forgiveness" from www.onlineblessings.com as all of God's children deserve to be forgiven of their sins.
